The Cosmic Signature You Alone Carry The contemplative traditions of India speak of the rarity of human birth— Jyotiṣa reveals something even more intimate: your birth chart—the exact configuration of the cosmos at your birth—is entirely unique. This course is an invitation to understand that pattern—not as fixed fate, but as a mirror for awareness, insight, and transformation.

Your guide

Jared (Rudrananda) is a classical Jyotiṣa practitioner, contemplative educator, and interfaith chaplain whose study of Vedic astrology spans more than sixteen years of disciplined, lineage-rooted formation. Holding both foundational and advanced certifications in Vedic Astrology, he received his deepest training under the direct guidance of his guru, the late Swami Yoganand Prabhu — a relationship of devoted scholarship that shaped not only his technical mastery of Jyotiṣa but his abiding conviction that the birth chart is, at its core, an instrument of self-inquiry. Jared holds a Master of Divinity in Contemplative Chaplaincy from Naropa University, where his studies immersed him in rigorous contemplative pedagogy drawn from Buddhist and Hindu philosophical lineages — the same contemplative spirit that animates every module of this course. His formation extends well beyond the classroom. He has undertaken multiple pilgrimages to sacred sites across India, engaged in sustained Sanskrit study, and leads kirtan and traditional pūjā within his local community. He serves on the board of the Vedanta Society of North Texas and is an active member of the North American Hindu Chaplains Association. By vocation, Jared served twenty-seven years in crisis response which only deepened his reverence for those threshold moments where the sacred and the human most intimately meet.
